[H=1]$2,000 Added Progressive Knockout Tournaments[/H]
This is not the only value PokerNews readers can play for at PokerStars as they also are hosting three monthly Progressive Knockout (PKO) events with just a $2.20 buy-in and $2,000 in added value.
The tournaments provide plenty of action with players starting off with 3,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 10-minutes. In addition, players will be awarded a bounty for each player eliminated.
The bounties can get big especially as the tournament progresses with half the bounty amount getting added as cash to his or her PokerStars account and the other half added to that player's personal bounty. For example, if eliminating a player eliminating an opponent on the first hand with a $1 starting bounty will automatically be awarded $0.50 with another $0.50 added to his or her own personal bounty, increasing it from $1 to $1.50.
The $2,000 added by PokerStars will go straight into the normal prize pool and be distributed to those that cash as per the PokerStars standard payouts.
Each of the freerolls takes place on a Sunday at 3:05 p.m. ET so make sure that you keep the following dates free if you want to battle it out with fellow PokerNews readers in a lucrative tournament with $2,000 added to the prize pool.
